Yoga Anatman: Creating Space Within to Embody Your True Nature

Yoga Anatman: Creating Space Within to Embody Your True Nature

This article is a synthesis of the Yoga Anatman session of September 12, 2026 — a Saturday morning filled with the gentle soreness of the day before and the quiet power of coming back together.

There are mornings when we step into practice the way we push open a familiar door. 🌅 And yet, behind that door, something new is always waiting. This Saturday, after yesterday’s great frog — six intense minutes that left the body humming with living soreness —, the session opens with infinite tenderness for who we have become during the night.

A new little-hearts feature makes its way into the practice. 💖 On Anatman TV, everyone can now send their vibration, their frequency, their color to the other practitioners. An OM, a joy, a celebration. Technology placed in the service of the sacred. ✨

The video game of consciousness

What if all of this were only a game? 🦋 Not a light, superficial game — but a cosmic video game in which you are at once the creator, the player and the scenery. That is the dizzying invitation of this session: to realize that you are the non-localized, and that, as such, you can create the space for everything you wish to embody.

Vulnerability rises quickly this morning. Tears flow, gratitude overflows. For there is something deeply moving in understanding that you are the creator of your own journey. 🕊️

The morning teaching

Today’s morning elixir carries a powerful teaching on conscious creation. Alexandre first invites everyone to send, through an individual OM, their vibration, their frequency, their identity, their color toward the surface of the cup. The drink becomes a vessel for intention. ✨

Then come the great mantras of liberation: releasing whatever prevents us from welcoming all emotions, all bodily sensations. Releasing whatever prevents us from using the sacred word to command matter. Releasing whatever prevents us from listening to the inner voice. Releasing whatever prevents us from opening the heart and simply being who we are. 💖

And then the tears come. Many are crying. Because this mantra touches the most tender place of all: daring to be yourself. No mask, no strategy, no adjusting to please.

“Gratitude for having a little morning ritual, for aligning, surrendering, raising our vibration, coming home to ourselves.”

Next comes the heart of the teaching, a point Alexandre returns to often because it is fundamental. Let’s listen closely: because I am the non-localized, because I am in a video game where everything is my creation from the absolute, I have the technical ability to create spaces. 🦋

And this creation always begins with an intention. A realization that I am consciousness, yes. But above all an intention — because I am the universe, because I am non-localized, because all of this is a game.

So I can create every scene I wish. Encounters. Relationships. Abundance. I can even co-create with my friends. Infinite gratitude for receiving this initiation into co-creation. 🌟

“Feel a great freedom in your heart, the freedom to create whatever you desire. And then to embody your creations, to play with your creations and to see the results of your creations.”

Everything in the universe rests on this. The intention that creates from the heart, and then delights in its creation. That is the sacred mechanics of life. That is why Yoga Anatman is not gymnastics — it is a school of conscious creation. 💫

And Alexandre reminds us: by doing the yoga every day, a moment comes when the whole day slows down. You have several speeds, including the slow one. The one where we feel, where we create, where we embody. 🕊️

Realizations during Yoga Anatman

🎁 This 10-minute excerpt of the session’s realizations (in French) is offered to you by ANATMAN TV.

The session opens with a great individual OM, feet firmly planted on the ground. 🌱 Then comes the first mantra, the one that sets the tone for the whole practice: “I surrender to my inner yogi, I surrender.” Nothing is possible without this initial surrender. Nothing opens as long as something in us still resists what wants to be born.

Alexandre insists: the mantras must be spoken out loud. For the sacred word only exists when it is embodied. Keeping it in your head means letting it die in the twists and turns of the mind. 💫 It is by daring to express it that matter begins to move.

“As soon as you begin to embody by saying the mantras, well, that’s where things start to move.”

Massaging the jaws and awakening the inner masseur

A first tender gesture: massaging the jaws. 🤍 “I surrender to my inner masseur, I surrender.” This seemingly ordinary mantra opens an immense door — that of absolute trust in what, within, knows exactly where to go, how to press, how to release.

Then we rise onto the tips of our toes. The calves contract, the abs engage, the glutes, the thighs. The whole body hangs suspended. And in this suspension, a fresh vitality flows. We rise, and rise, and rise — as if the body wanted to leave the ground and join the sky. ✨

Side stretches and the bliss of stretching

Right arm raised, leaning to the left, the right heel lifts. And this essential mantra returns: “I surrender to the bliss of the stretch.” Or in its more radical version: “I associate bliss and stretching, I associate.” 🌿

Here is one of the great inner revolutions of the Anatman practice: associating two sensations that the mind usually keeps apart. Where stretching could be nothing but tension, it becomes delight. Where discomfort could make us tense up, it becomes opening. 💖

The thumb then massages the back of the neck on the right. Then on the left. Then both thumbs massage the back of the skull in small, patient circles. The body becomes a tender field of exploration. Every area is honored, listened to, released.

Big circles with the chin

Then comes a moment of rare beauty: big circles with the chin. But Alexandre makes it clear — it isn’t only the neck that moves. The whole body follows the movement. The lower back, the shoulders, everything becomes a circular dance. 🦋

And with each circle, a search: for the fullest possible stretch. Not through force, but through a deep welcome of what the body can offer today. The mantra then falls into place as if self-evident: “I lovingly release everything that keeps me from being here and now in this body.”

Postures of surrender and a declaration of love to life

Arms out in a cross, then back. A posture of surrender. The head gently tilts backward — careful with the neck, no forcing. And then, a series of deeply moving declarations of love: 💞

“To life, I love you. To love, I love you. To the universe, I love you. I surrender to you, I surrender to you.”

This is no longer a physical practice. It is a cosmic declaration. It is the heart opening and recognizing, in every cell, that life deserves to be loved unconditionally. 🕊️

The gentle frog and the breath of fire

Yesterday’s great frog left its mark. Six minutes in the posture — you feel it in your thighs when you wake up. So today, a gentle frog of just three minutes. Alexandre invites everyone to adapt, to listen to what the body truly needs.

Then comes the breath of fire — that powerful exhale where the air flows back in on its own, continuously. Push-ups as an option, or rest in half-lotus. The practice breathes freedom to adapt. Everyone finds their rightful place. ✨

The strap and the extended right leg

Lying on your back, you take hold of the strap. The right leg rises, straight, up to perpendicular if possible. The lower back stays pressed to the floor. The neck stays soft — it’s the arms that pull, never the neck.

And here, anything can happen. Trembling in the thigh. Laughter bubbling up. Tears flowing. Alexandre then slips in this mysterious sentence: 🌟

“Notice that when it laughs, there’s no one left. It’s the being, the soul that laughs, not the person. It’s the real you that laughs.”

A major realization: authentic laughter is a sign of the ego fading away. When laughter truly happens, when tears truly flow, it is the Non-Self expressing itself. The person has stepped aside. All that remains is pure presence. 💫

Spontaneous breath retention and infinite release

After lowering the leg, a strange phenomenon may occur. The body exhales at length, then doesn’t breathe in again. A spontaneous pause in the breath settles in. No worry, no control — just tender observation.

“Notice that when the breath stops, thoughts stop too, everything stops. It’s a practice that frees the body.”

The body becomes free to breathe in or not. It is no longer an order from the mind. It is a direct consequence of extreme relaxation. Something in us feels safe enough to let go of everything, absolutely everything. 🤍

The left leg and the opening of the heart

We do the same with the left leg. Perpendicular to the floor, the strap pulling, the neck relaxed. And in this stretch, the heart opens even further. “I love you, I love you” rises spontaneously. Gratitude bursts out toward all the yogis practicing at the same moment, toward those who came on retreat this summer — including the little one in the jacket who laughed so heartily. 🦋

The great creative mantra

Then comes the central revelation of the session. The mantra that changes everything: ✨

“I create a space within me to welcome all bodily sensations. I create a space within me to welcome all emotions. I create a space within me to manifest great abundance. I create a space within me to understand that I am the one creating the space.”

The last mantra makes everyone laugh. It turns the mind back on itself. Because I am the creator of space itself. I am not inside it — I am it. 💖

Thigh stretches and the foot against the thigh

Right leg bent, left leg extended. Hands behind the head for the more flexible among us. The thigh stretches deliciously. Then right knee out to the right, foot touching the left thigh. Then we switch sides. The pelvis opens, the hip releases its old memories. 🌿

Conscious walking and the non-localized spin

Standing, blindfolded, we spin like a top — three or four turns, like the Five Tibetans. Then we stop. And there, we are somewhere in the non-localized. Visual reality has vanished. What remains is sound, what remains is the feet.

The walking begins. Forward. Backward. Sideways like a crab. Because in truth, I am not localized. I perceive from this body, but I am not this body. 🕊️

“I lovingly release everything that wants to make me believe I am localized. I lovingly release everything I have believed. I start again from zero.”

Alexandre scoops up Lise — the little cat wandering across the room — and laughs. The body starts dancing on its own. It becomes tantra. It stretches in the pure bliss of existing. 💞

Opening the eyes and keeping the altered state

On three, the eyes open. But the altered state of consciousness remains. The non-localized endures. Awareness stays as much in the feet as in what we see. That is the training: no longer being sucked in by the mind and by sight, staying anchored in all the sensations. 🌟

Notice that when it laughs, there’s no one left. It’s the being, the soul that laughs, not the person. It’s the real you that laughs.

I create a space within me to understand that I am the one creating the space, I create.

I lovingly release everything that wants to make me believe I am localized.
