Yoga Anatman: Bringing peace to every part that believes it is separate

Yoga Anatman: Bringing peace to every part that believes it is separate

This article is a synthesis of the Yoga Anatman session of September 11, 2026, a morning practice of awakening, transformation and realization.

There are mornings when you step into the practice the way you open a door. You don’t yet know what is waiting on the other side. You only know that something within you is asking to be welcomed ✨.

That morning, from the very first stretches, the body began to laugh. To feel bliss. To cry, too. As if all the inner parts that had stayed silent for so long had finally found a space to express themselves. 🌱

And then came this question, asked by one of the practitioners, which opened everything up: why am I afraid of love?

When a part of you is afraid of love

The answer was not the one anyone expected. It did not try to console. Instead, it turned the question upside down. 🕊️

Because it is never you who is afraid of love. It is a part, hidden away in the unconscious, that once felt separate. A part that suffered. A part that, in order to survive, believed it had to protect itself from something greater.

And what if the real work this morning was not to fight that part… but to speak to it with love? 💖

The morning’s teaching

Today’s elixir had a simple, almost obvious name: an elixir of peace. But behind that word, a whole teaching unfolded, like a veil being gently lifted. 🌿

It all began with a question sent in by Anne: that sentence so many beings carry in secret, “I’m afraid of love.” Alexandre then offered a truth that shifts everything: that sentence is false. It is not the “I” that is afraid of love. It is programs, conditioning, unconscious wounds that feel separate from creation.

“In fact, it’s a false sentence. What it really means is: I have wounds and traumas in my unconscious that don’t allow me to trust life, to trust love.”

Then the true question revealed itself: why do some parts of me believe they are separate? And the answer, offered with infinite tenderness: because they have suffered. 💫

From this understanding, the elixir sprang forth. Not a struggle, not a rejection, but a message of love addressed to all those inner parts that believe they are shut out of the world:

“To all my parts that believe they are separate from the world, from life and from creation: I love you, I welcome you just as you are. You are perfect. I’m sorry. Forgive me, I forgive you everything.”

Over the past two weeks, Alexandre shared, there has been a major realization: all suffering, all pain, all ignorance is nothing but the expression of a part that is suffering inside. A part at odds with life. 🦋

And so, everything is resolved through pacification. Not through struggle. Not through denial. Through welcome. Through forgiveness. Through this absolute sentence that speaks to the relative: I love you just as you are.

Next came a teaching of rare depth on the secondary gain of suffering. These parts, in their unconscious logic, tell themselves: if I no longer suffer, I no longer exist. They don’t want to disappear. They fear unification as if it were dissolution.

“Suffering only exists because it feels separate. And if suffering began to unify, it would disappear — and in the unconscious, it doesn’t want to disappear.”

Hence the mantra that followed, precise, surgical: I lovingly release everything that would have me believe I must suffer in order to exist. Then the luminous affirmation: I exist in peace, I exist in love. 🙏

And then, like a final seal, this deeply moving reminder: the outer world — the wars, the conflicts, everything we see on television — is nothing but the expression of humanity’s inner disharmonies. Peace begins within. Always. 🌟

Realizations during Yoga Anatman

🎁 This 10-minute excerpt of the session’s realizations (in French) is offered to you by ANATMAN TV.

There are mornings when the body wakes up before the mind. This morning was one of them. From the very first moments, something opened. ✨

The session began with an individual sound, that opening vibration which prepares the inner landscape. Then a massage of the cheeks, a stretch of the jaw. The smile, even before the posture. Laughter, even before the effort.

Alexandre then introduced a precious new feature: the possibility of sending him your personal news on his WhatsApp, so that you receive mantras during the session tailored to whatever you are going through at the moment. Anne and Valérie led the way. A practice that becomes made to measure. 🌱

Arms rose. And already, the surprise: “Oh my… it’s already bliss and we’ve barely started.” From this observation a founding mantra was born: I associate bliss with stretching.

“The more sensitive you become, the more connected to your physical body, the more you will live in permanent bliss. Yes, that’s what awaits you if you keep doing our yoga: permanent bliss in the micro-movements.”

Rising onto tiptoe: rooted like a stake

Next came the vertical rise. On tiptoe. Gaze straight ahead. Calves, thighs, glutes, abs — everything contracts. Alexandre passes on an essential image: I am planted like a stake. 🕊️

And this realization of formidable simplicity: the more you contract, the easier it gets. Without contraction, the posture collapses. Muscle strengthening is not an extra — it is the very condition of stability. It warms you up, it wakes you up, it’s perfect for winter.

A declaration of love to life

The head tilts back, the thumbs hook together. And there, the whole body begins to speak to life: I love you, I love you, I love you. 💖

Gratitude for being alive. One more morning. We’ve won. Then that deep silence, that thought offered to those who are no longer alive this morning. Tears come. They are welcomed. Carpe diem, the session whispers.

The inner masseur and welcoming emotions

Then comes the work on the neck. The right thumb, then the left thumb, massage the cervical vertebrae in small circles. A powerful mantra is offered: I surrender to my inner masseur, I surrender. 🌿

Then this key phrase: I become tantra. Life is going to become more interesting, more blissful, more sensational. Sensitive. Alexandre invites everyone to let the tears flow. To welcome every emotion. And he points out that after three months of practice, neck tension has all but disappeared in regular practitioners.

“If you still have stiffness, rigidity, do the yoga every day. After that, you won’t have any tension left, because you’ll release it as soon as it appears.”

The cross posture of surrender

Then comes total opening. Arms spread wide in a cross. The body leaning back. The posture of surrender. And once again that incantatory declaration to life, to the universe: I love you, I’m in love with you, I love everything you are. 💫

The hands rest gently on the lower back, like an energy healing on the lumbar area. Then the breathing of the Five Tibetans — in through the nose, out through the mouth — anchors this opening in the breath.

Growing sensitivity: the awakening of the body

Alexandre then shares a profound realization about how the practice has evolved. At first, years ago, it was simply well-being, flexibility, lightness. Then, little by little, a few postures became blissful. And today: everything is blissful. 🦋

“As if I had become sensitized. What does it do to me? What does it do to me? And it’s the welcome, the sensation, the surrender that will give you so much bliss with this yoga.”

There is an essential teaching here: awakening is not about fleeing the body. It is about becoming so sensitive, so empathic that you naturally create your own paradise. You choose an environment that suits you, kind, blissful. It’s as simple as that.

The frog and the breath of fire

The session then invited the frog posture, held for six minutes this morning, with a planned progression up to ten minutes a day. Gaze straight ahead, hands in namaste, back nice and straight. Breath of fire — I breathe out, the air comes in by itself. A disappearing. An active meditation. 🙏

For the bravest, the option of doing push-ups. For everyone, the mantra: I disappear, I surrender, I learn to let go of everything.

Cat, cow and dragon

Cat and cow then set the spine undulating, with remarkable suppleness this morning. Then the dragon posture, on the right and then on the left: palms in line with the outer heel, breath of fire, knee further back or less depending on the intensity you choose. 🌟

Between each side, a moment of rest lying on the belly. Melting into the mat. Letting everything go. Here Alexandre shares a precious subtlety about the out-breath:

“It may slip into apnea. That’s fine. Entering a zone of stillness. After the out-breath, it keeps letting go, infinitely. It lets go so much that it no longer breathes in.”

The inner child and the toes

Then came a moment of pure tenderness. A moment when the inner child took over again. Each toe, one after another, was stretched, massaged, loved. 💞

Oh my little toe, I love you. The second, the third, the fourth, the big toe. Then all the toes at once, legs in the air, like a baby at play. It trembles, it laughs, it cries.

This sequence carries a hidden but essential teaching: I love all my parts. None is too small to receive love. None is unworthy of attention. Even the little toe determines our balance.

Conscious walking and the non-localized Non-Self

The session ended with a conscious walk, blindfolded, in a living silence. A few turns first — here Alexandre mentions the Sufi dance exercises. Then free walking: forwards, backwards, turned around, sideways. 🌅

And there, a major realization emerged, directly continuing the previous Sunday’s Anatman Odyssey:

“I am the creator of everything, of the whole. I came to incarnate in order to play. Even though I feel in this body, in the feet, I am not only the feet. I am not in the body. What I am is not localized.”

This is the realization of the non-localized Non-Self. I am the whole room. I am the consciousness that contains the sensations, not the other way around. Alexandre spoke of Bruce Lee’s initiation, that ability martial artists have to sense space without bumping into anything, without touching, in a non-local perception.

Then, eyes closed, blindfold removed, using the light as a guide. Then eyes open, while staying present to the physical body. Walking happens without an “I”. No need for an “I” in order to walk. It walks all by itself. 🕊️

The session closed with this invitation: keep this presence throughout the day. Body awareness. Feeling. For as long as possible, whatever you are doing.

Suffering only exists because it feels separate. And if it were to unify, it would disappear.

The more sensitive you become, the more connected to your physical body, the more you will live in permanent bliss.

I am the creator of everything. What I am is not localized. Walking happens without an I.
