This article is a synthesis of the Yoga Anatman session of October 21, 2026, a morning when the breath learned to slow down, when tears found their way, when the mind gave way to life itself.
There are mornings when you sit down on the mat and feel, from the very first moments, that something is about to open. 🌅 On this October 21, the air carried that particular quality, that tenderness which comes before the great inner transformations.
The arches of the feet settle. The eyes close behind the blindfold. And already, in the inhabited silence of the We, a vibration ✨ begins to rise. As if the whole group were becoming a single breath, a single presence.
Then Alexandre spoke the word. A simple word, almost ordinary, and yet it was about to change everything. Slow down. 🌿
When Life Becomes the Yoga
Have you ever realized, in the middle of a breath, that you had spent years living beside your life? That programs, automatic reflexes and habits had spoken in your place, eaten in your place, loved in your place?
That was the realization 💫 that swept through the room that morning. A gentle, overwhelming truth: I can live a thousand times more by truly being here.
And something in us wept. Not from sadness. From gratitude. 🤍 As if the whole being were finally saying yes to its own existence.
The Morning’s Teaching
The shared elixir — that steaming chai served in the cup — is not just a drink. 🍵 It is a threshold. A moment when the group slows down together, breathes together, and something sacred settles in.
Alexandre reminded us this morning that each day, a realization ✨ comes to enrich what he calls the Theory of the Creation of Reality. Our human lives, he says, are the sum of our realizations. Everything we understand each day about what we are, about this great video game we call existence, shapes the texture of our days.
And the morning’s realization was overwhelming in its simplicity.
“In the end, I won’t be doing yoga every morning anymore. My life will be the yoga.”
Can you feel what this opens up? Yoga stops being one practice among others. It becomes the very texture 🌿 of being alive: eating consciously, breathing consciously, inhabiting the body consciously, welcoming every emotion consciously.
Alexandre also touched on the delicate subject of the unconscious. The unconscious, he realized live this morning, does not exist the way we’ve been told. It is our automatic patterns, the habits piled up since childhood, that live and speak in our place. 💫
But I can, consciously, go and look at all of it. Open everything up. And choose anew. This is the essence of Yoga Anatman: not fighting our programs, but looking at them until they become transparent again.
And then the key dropped, like an obvious truth hidden for far too long: slow down. 🕊️ If I slow down, I have time to feel my emotions, my bodily sensations, to truly live what is happening. Rather than living in a virtual world of the mind, I live in life itself — the emotions and the body.
The second great transmission of the morning was about the We. 💖 Since each of us creates our own reality, and since we are together, we create a shared reality. Every person around us is a mirror. They reflect something of us.
“Why did I create all these people in my life? To reflect something of myself.”
Then Alexandre had us recite this powerful mantra: I love you, you are beautiful, I welcome you just as you are while respecting my limits, without letting myself be overwhelmed. I’m sorry, please forgive me, I forgive you everything, I forgive myself everything. We are innocent. Everything is forgiven. I start again from zero. 🤍
Ho’oponopono revisited, rooted in the Non-Self. The promise of an infinite new beginning.
Realizations During Yoga Anatman
🎁 This 10-minute excerpt of the session’s realizations (in French) is offered to you by ANATMAN TV.
From the very first minutes, Alexandre invites us to surrender to the sound. 🎵 An altered state of consciousness sets in, the blindfold rests over the eyes, and already the room vibrates with a special quality. No performance. No effort. Just this opening: being here.
The session opens with the arches of the feet. Feeling the soles of the feet, sensing the grounding, then raising the element of air. The arms rise, the lower back stretches, the body becomes suspended. The calves contract, then the thighs, the glutes, the abs — the whole body becomes completely stiff, completely stiff, the better to let go afterwards in a wave of surrender. ✨
And then comes the first mantra, repeated like an offering: “I release in love”. I release everything that keeps me from being here. I release everything that keeps me from feeling my bodily sensations. Each sentence is a door swinging open. 🌱
“I release in love everything that keeps me from being here.”
The forward bend arrives, hands toward the floor, knees bent at first, then legs gradually straightening. The right angle takes shape. The back pushes, the hands anchor. And on the exhale — that letting go so characteristic of Yoga Anatman — the practitioner disappears. There is only the breath doing the yoga.
Alexandre then guides chin circles to free the throat chakra. 🕊️ A deep OM rises from the belly. The neck stretches, the lower back too, and awareness observes what it feels like. How do I feel? What am I sensing? Each question is an invitation to inhabit the body a little more deeply.
Then the posture of surrender: arms outstretched, head tilted slightly back, and this sacred 💖 spoken declaration: to life, I love you, I surrender to you. To love, I love you. To my soul, to being, I love you. To the universe, I love you. A great OM of love for this video game we call existence.
“Gratitude for this great video game, gratitude.”
Next comes one of the 5 Tibetan Rites: hands on the lower back, the spine arching backward, love sent through the hands on the exhale. Everyone adapts. Nothing is forced. What matters is not the range of motion — it is presence in the stretch. ✨
Pelvic circles follow, bigger and bigger, one way and then the other. The little crouching frog welcomes the breath of fire 🔥. Air in, air out, the belly at work. Then sitting, resting, and once again that mantra returning like a gentle tide: I release in love everything that keeps me from feeling all my emotions.
The plank is prepared. For those who can, the pelvis rises, the head tilts back, and the breath of fire joins the movement. For the others, the intermediate posture is enough — spine leaning back, head soft. No hierarchy. Just bodies listening to themselves. 🌿
Back to a seated position, soles of the feet touching: the butterfly. 🦋 The knees sway, rise, fall. And in this childlike rocking, something in us remembers the time before the wounds. Before the programs.
After the elixir — that sacred moment of shared chai — comes the great floor sequence. The right leg rises with the strap, lower back pressed down, neck relaxed. And here Alexandre introduces an unexpected mantra: “I combine pleasure and stretching”. 💫 If laughter comes, let it laugh. If moans come, let them come. The body gives itself permission. I allow myself to express my pleasure. I allow myself every form of expression.
“I release in love all the childhood systems of castration that castrated my expression in all its forms.”
Tears flow. A lot of them, this time. Alexandre himself weeps, and the invitation is clear: let the tears come, I welcome all emotions. 🤍 The left leg rises in turn, and an initiation moves through the room: tantric mistress, tantra master. Gratitude. I own my sensuality, I own it.
The knees come up toward the chest. The hands stretch the toes, one by one. The senses grow sharper. Everything becomes clearer, more present, more alive.
Finally, standing, blindfold still over the eyes, each person finds a wall. We press our backs against it. We memorize the position: back nice and straight, head suspended by an invisible thread from the crown of the skull. Then Alexandre speaks the word: walk. And the walking happens all by itself. 🌱 The heel, the arch, the toes. We meet someone, we share a hug. We walk backward, we feel the temperature of the floor, every millimeter of skin in contact with life. This is the preparation for conscious walking in the forest.
The session closes with an observation: I am the observer. The eyes open, but awareness stays in the feet. Nothing has changed — and yet everything is different.
The Postures of the Session
🧘 Vertical rise onto the arches of the feet — Tadasana variation
The posture: standing, feet parallel, Alexandre guides the rise onto the tiptoes, the arms lift above the head, gaze straight ahead, the whole body contracts — calves, thighs, glutes, abs — then releases on the exhale in a wave of surrender.
Benefits for the body: strengthens the calves and arches of the feet, improves postural balance, stretches the spine and releases tension in the lower back.
🧘 Standing forward bend — Uttanasana
The posture: thumbs hooked together behind the back, Alexandre first invites a slight backward stretch, then a forward bend, hands descending toward the floor, knees bent if needed, then legs gradually straightening while pushing on the hands.
Benefits for the body: deeply stretches the backs of the legs and the lower back, decompresses the spine, promotes blood flow to the head.
🧘 Right angle with hands on knees — Ardha Uttanasana
The posture: in a half forward bend, hands resting on the knees, back horizontal, head in line, Alexandre guides deep inhales and exhales.
Benefits for the body: lengthens the spine, strengthens the deep back muscles, prepares the hamstrings for deeper stretches.
🧘 Standing side stretch — Parsva Tadasana
The posture: standing, arms raised, Alexandre guides the lean to the left and then to the right, the opposite side stretching long, the pelvis staying stable, the breath full.
Benefits for the body: stretches the sides of the torso, opens the rib cage, makes the spine more supple laterally, improves breathing.
🧘 Chin circles — Anatman movement
The posture: standing, the chin draws wide circles, the right heel lifts, the whole body follows the movement, one way and then the other.
Benefits for the body: releases neck tension, loosens the trapezius muscles, decongests the throat, stimulates the throat chakra.
🧘 Arms extended out to the sides — standing Virabhadrasana II variation
The posture: arms perfectly horizontal, hands pushing invisible mountains to the right and left, upright stance maintained, held for several seconds.
Benefits for the body: strengthens the shoulders and trapezius muscles, improves posture, builds muscular endurance in the upper limbs.
🧘 Posture of surrender with arms back — Ardha Chandrasana variation
The posture: arms raised and then carried backward, head tilted slightly back, chest open to the sky, full breathing.
Benefits for the body: opens the heart and solar plexus, stretches the pectoral muscles, frees the rib cage, encourages deep breathing.
🧘 The first Tibetan Rite — movement from the 5 Tibetan Rites
The posture: hands on the lower back, the spine gently arching backward, a deep inhale, then a very slow return to vertical, starting from the lower back.
Benefits for the body: strengthens the spine, stretches the psoas, stimulates the flow of energy, revitalizes the glandular system.
🧘 Pelvic circles — Anatman movement
The posture: knees slightly bent, back straight, the pelvis draws circles that gradually grow wider, one way and then the other.
Benefits for the body: loosens the hips and pelvis, mobilizes the lumbar spine, releases digestive tension, activates sacral energy.
🧘 Crouching frog — Malasana
The posture: squatting, feet flat on the floor, back straight, head upright, Alexandre guides the breath of fire — short, powerful exhales from the belly.
Benefits for the body: deeply opens the hips, stretches the ankles, tones the pelvic floor, stimulates the digestive fire.
🧘 Reverse plank — Purvottanasana
The posture: seated, hands behind, the pelvis lifting continuously, the head gently tilting back, breath of fire. An intermediate version is offered for those who prefer it.
Benefits for the body: strengthens the arms, shoulders and posterior muscles, opens the chest, stretches the psoas and the front of the body.
🧘 Butterfly — Baddha Konasana
The posture: seated, soles of the feet touching, back straight, suspended from the crown of the head, the knees gently swaying up and down.
Benefits for the body: opens the hips, makes the inner thighs more supple, stimulates pelvic circulation, eases lower-back tension.
🧘 Leg stretched to the sky with strap — Supta Padangusthasana
The posture: lying on the back, lower back pressed to the floor, neck relaxed, one leg extended vertically, the other stretched out on the floor, strap around the foot, the forearms gently pulling to deepen the stretch. Same movement on the other side.
Benefits for the body: deeply stretches the hamstrings and calves, lengthens the lower back, loosens the hips, relieves sciatica.
🧘 Knees to chest — Apanasana
The posture: lying down, both knees drawn up against the chest, hands wrapped around the shins, breathing full and calm.
Benefits for the body: gently stretches the lower back, massages the digestive organs, calms the nervous system, encourages deep relaxation.
🧘 Conscious walking — Anatman movement
The posture: standing, back suspended by a thread from the crown of the head, barefoot, the heel lands first, then the arch, then the toes. Walking forward or backward, eyes closed and then open.
Benefits for the body: awakens proprioception, strengthens balance, refines awareness of the soles of the feet, brings the practice into everyday life.
In the end, I won’t be doing yoga every morning anymore. My life will be the yoga.
Maybe I could live a thousand times more by truly being here.
Why did I create all these people in my life? To reflect something of myself.
