This article is a summary of the Yoga Anatman session of October 3, 2026, a Saturday morning when something unprecedented revealed itself — a door opened onto a space that fifteen years of practice had never even brushed against.
Imagine ✨. It is eight o’clock in the morning. You have set down your strap, your blindfold over your eyes, your cup of chai steaming gently beside the mat. You don’t know yet that, in an hour and a few minutes, Alexandre Anatman is going to say a sentence that had never been spoken here: “Gratitude for creating an internet network that connects all my lives.”
And you are going to realize — truly realize 🌱 — that everything you are, everything you have been, everything you could become, is connected. That your life as a yogi is not isolated. That it is interconnected with thousands of other lives which, they too, breathe, love, cook, walk, create.
The morning when all the lives recognized each other
There are sessions that massage, that soothe, that open. And then there are those that 💫 unlock something. This one, on Saturday, October 3, belongs to the second kind.
A technical glitch with the sound — the audio card shutting down right at the most intense moment — could have broken the momentum. But no. Alexandre turned this unexpected event 🕊️ into a turning point: how do you come back into feeling when the mind races? How do you shift, in a single breath, from discernment mode to body mode?
And the answer, as you will see, lies in a tiny, dizzying question: what does it do to me? 💖
The morning’s teaching
At the heart of the session, after the liberation mantras and before the great conscious walk, Alexandre placed the elixir of the day on the table. An alignment elixir 🌿. And with it, a question that would infuse the whole practice: “What does it do to me?”
Not what do I think. Not what should I do. No. What does it do to me, right here, right now, in the heart, in the gut, in the feet? ✨
“When you live from the emotions and the body, life changes completely. It’s not just the head and the mind that are ‘living’, so to speak — there is something else.”
That is the pivot. That is the tipping point 🦋. Alexandre names a mechanism many carry without seeing it: having been desensitized. Having learned, as a child, not to feel. To pretend. To push past it.
And the mantra comes, crystal clear: “I release in love everything that prevents me from feeling what it does to me.” You repeat it. And something gives way 💞. A microscopic dam, built long ago, dissolves.
Then comes the second great wave. Alexandre mentions Franck Lopvet and his example of Davy Crockett, chased by wolves, whose soul instantly creates a life as a dog trainer in order to survive. And there, the teaching opens like a flower:
“We have the capacity to develop all kinds of abilities according to our needs.”
When you cook, it is your life as a chef that expresses itself. When you walk, it is your lives as walkers. When you code, it is the computer scientist from another era. All your parallel lives are there 🌟, available, interconnected.
And the sacred mantra of the day, never heard before in fifteen years of practice, reveals itself: “Gratitude for creating an internet network that connects all my lives.” You are the router. You are the server. You are also every one of the terminals 🙏.
That is what the alignment elixir is: daring to believe that your imagination is not limited. Daring to ask: what do I need? What do I long to live? And letting the soul, in its sovereignty, summon the parallel life that will know how to respond.
Realizations during Yoga Anatman
🎁 This 10-minute excerpt of the session’s realizations is offered to you by ANATMAN TV (in French).
It is barely eight o’clock. The room in Belgium is full, and on the screen the faces arrive one by one: Valérie, Francis, Sandrine, Marie-Noëlle, Shakti Anne 🌅. Alexandre begins gently, with the words that seal the entrance: “We need a strap and a blindfold over our eyes, because we are going into our inner universe.”
The feet root into the arches 🌱. And already the first mantra lands as something obvious: “I surrender to my inner yogi.” Not abandoning oneself, but surrendering to something greater than oneself. The reversal is precious.
Cheeks are massaged, the tongue comes out — yes, it really comes out, that small absurd gesture that instantly undoes the body’s seriousness. Then the rising begins. I rise, I rise, I rise 💫. Thighs tighten, buttocks, abs. And already Alexandre slips in, half smiling, half grateful: “The chai is starting to work.” Two kilos of spices have arrived, and he will be able to make some for the whole tribe.
The body stretches backward, without forcing. Then the great descent, nose toward the floor, hands touching the earth, thighs lengthening, lower back opening 🕊️. Each at their own pace. Everyone does what they can. The right-angle pose arrives, hands on the knees, and the backs of the thighs reveal themselves, so often forgotten.
“At some point, it’s not you doing the massage — it moves all by itself. It’s an intuitive massage. And it knows you. It knows exactly where to massage, and how.”
And that is when the first great realization emerges: there is an inner masseur within you. You say “I surrender to my inner masseur”, and the hands begin to move on their own, finding precisely the tension in the skull, the neck, the nape. The body knows itself better than you know it 💖.
The right arm rises, fully suspended. Then the lean to the left, the arc, the heel lifting. Same gesture on the other side. The side stretches open the ribs, the obliques, and something in the flank breathes for the first time.
Then the chin circles 🌿. Slow, wide. “The chin leads — express the sacred word with an OM in your authority, in your sovereignty.” And the great OM of love comes out, settled, deep, rooted.
Then comes the mantra “To life, I love you”, repeated until gratitude overflows 🙏. “To the universe, I love you. To love, I love you.” Tears rise in several people. Alexandre simply says: “Let the tears flow.” And that’s all. No drama. Just welcoming.
Energy healing on the lower back, warm hands, then the backbend inspired by the Five Tibetans. Back to the right angle, to vertical, and the pelvis begins to move — left, right, small circles that grow larger, the Anatman hop. The obliques wake up, a strange joy rises, a brand-new suppleness 🦋.
The frog arrives with its breath of fire: exhale, and the air comes in all by itself. Each at their own rhythm. Three minutes that open the whole perineum and diaphragm. For those who prefer, push-ups or a resting seat — “depending on how you feel today”.
Then lying flat on the belly, complete letting go. “I disappear.” Two words that are a whole practice.
Then comes the most moving passage 💞. Seated in half-lotus, cup of chai in hand, the series of liberation mantras unfolds, each one deeper than the last:
“I release in love everything that prevents me from loving, from being loved, from expressing love in my life.” The tears return. Alexandre repeats: “Feel it in the heart.”
“I release in love everything that prevents me from having a daily practice of awakening and transformation.” This one hits hard — for how many of us are quiet saboteurs of our own rituals?
“I release in love everything that prevents me from having a relationship of equal to equal, sovereign to sovereign.” The mantra of relational verticality. The end of invisible hierarchies ✨.
Then the alignment elixir is drunk, and the great question arises: “What does it do to me?” — which becomes the axis of the whole morning’s teaching.
Lying on the back. The hands stretch overhead. And there, Alexandre enters a state of overflowing love for the physical body: “I am beautiful, I am gorgeous, I am magnificent. I love my physical body.” You have to hear him say “Oh, I love you — how I love you!” to his own body to understand that it is possible 💖.
Total forgiveness. “I forgive you everything, I forgive myself everything. Everything is forgiven.” And the mantra of the new day: “Today I start again from zero.”
The right leg rises, neck relaxed, lower back pressed to the floor. The forearms pull, not the neck. Then the left leg, a beautiful right angle, a scissor between the thighs 🌟. And it is during this posture that the unprecedented revelation arrives.
“Gratitude for creating an internet network that connects all my lives. Connected interconnection. Now that’s a new one, that’s a first — we’ve never had that one before, in fifteen years.”
Alexandre stops himself, surprised. A teaching never seen before in fifteen years of practice has just revealed itself. All the parallel lives — the lives of a yogi, a cook, a walker, a musician, a dog trainer — are connected and can be summoned according to our needs 💫.
The self-confidence mantras follow one another: “I declare my Genius” (a nod to Oscar Wilde at customs), “I came here to be, not to please”, “I welcome my magnificence”. And the sublime liberator: “I release in love everything that would want me to be normal.” 🦋
Finally, the conscious walk. Eyes closed, blindfold first, then without. The body walks all by itself, forward, backward, sideways. You are a spectator. You simply gave the order “walk”, and it walks 🕊️. And Alexandre slips in the obvious: “You can do this for everything in your life. You can also say: earning money — it happens all by itself.”
Spontaneous hugs pass through the room in Belgium. Isabelle speaks in English. Love circulates, without reason, without justification. “It’s the heart that loves, that’s just how it is. There is no reason for love.”
The postures of the session
🧘 Standing grounding posture — Tadasana (mountain pose)
The posture: Standing, feet parallel and rooted through the arches, the body rises from the lower back, thighs and buttocks engaged, abs active, head suspended from the crown, full breathing through the nose.
Benefits for the body: Strengthens the thighs, calves and abdominals, aligns the spine, improves overall posture and energetic grounding.
🧘 Standing forward bend — Uttanasana
The posture: From standing, a slow descent nose toward the floor, hands touching the ground if possible, thighs stretching, lower back opening, each at their own pace without forcing.
Benefits for the body: Stretches the hamstrings and lower back, decompresses the spine, encourages blood flow to the head and calms the nervous system.
🧘 Right-angle pose — Ardha Uttanasana
The posture: Torso horizontal, hands resting on the knees, back straight, legs extended, the backs of the thighs come alive, a long exhale lengthening the back line of the body.
Benefits for the body: Stretches the hamstrings, strengthens the deep back muscles, opens the chest and awakens awareness of the body’s back line.
🧘 Standing side stretch — Parsva Tadasana
The posture: Right arm raised, suspended, side bend to the left in an arc, the heel of the opposite foot lifting slightly, hand on the hip. Same on the other side.
Benefits for the body: Stretches the obliques, the latissimus dorsi and the intercostal muscles, opens the rib cage and improves lateral breathing.
🧘 Self-massage of the neck and skull — Anatman movement
The posture: Hands trace the tensions upward from the nape to the crown of the head, then the body lets the hands move on their own (inner masseur).
Benefits for the body: Releases neck tension, improves scalp circulation, soothes the vagus nerve and relaxes the jaw.
🧘 Chin circles — Anatman movement
The posture: Standing, head tilted to the left then back, the chin draws wide, slow circles, the whole body discreetly following the orbit.
Benefits for the body: Mobilizes the cervical spine, stretches the throat and nape, improves spinal mobility and releases jaw tension.
🧘 Arms in a cross — horizontal stretch
The posture: Standing, arms extended horizontally, maximum stretch to the left and right, verticality maintained from the feet.
Benefits for the body: Strengthens the deltoids and trapezius, opens the chest, improves posture and develops awareness of the body’s horizontal axis.
🧘 Backward surrender pose — inspired by the Five Tibetans
The posture: Hands on the lower back for support, head slightly back, torso leaning backward, inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth.
Benefits for the body: Opens the throat and upper chest, stretches the psoas and solar plexus, stimulates the thyroid and releases blocked emotions.
🧘 Pelvic rotations — Anatman movement
The posture: Standing, knees slightly bent, the pelvis draws circles that gradually widen, in one direction then the other.
Benefits for the body: Mobilizes the hips, works the obliques, loosens the lower back and improves balance and coordination.
🧘 The frog — Mandukasana (Anatman variation)
The posture: Seated or squatting, hands in anjali mudra in front of the heart, back straight, head straight, breath of fire — active exhale through the belly, passive inhale that happens on its own.
Benefits for the body: Strengthens the core, stimulates the diaphragm, improves digestion and intensely oxygenates the blood.
🧘 Letting go face down — Advasana
The posture: Lying on the belly, arms alongside the body or stretched out, total surrender, slow breathing through the nose.
Benefits for the body: Completely relaxes the spine, releases lumbar tension, calms the nervous system and supports energetic integration.
🧘 Half-lotus seat — Ardha Padmasana
The posture: Seated, one foot resting on the opposite thigh, back straight, hands on the knees or holding the cup of elixir, calm breathing.
Benefits for the body: Opens the hips, aligns the spine, calms the mind and supports extended meditation.
🧘 Reclining extended leg — Supta Padangusthasana
The posture: Lying on the back, lower back pressed firmly to the floor, one leg extended on the floor, the other rising slowly to vertical, neck relaxed, forearms doing the pulling (never the neck).
Benefits for the body: Deeply stretches the hamstrings, decompresses the lower back, strengthens the deep abdominals and improves venous circulation.
🧘 Conscious walk with eyes closed — Anatman movement
The posture: Standing, eyes closed (blindfold, then without), the body moves by itself forward, backward, sideways, awareness in the arches of the feet.
Benefits for the body: Develops proprioception, strengthens the stabilizing muscles of the ankles and pelvis, sharpens balance and refines body awareness.
Gratitude for creating an internet network that connects all my lives. Connected interconnection.
When you live from the emotions and the body, life changes completely.
I came here to be. Not to please — to be. That’s something else entirely.
