Lama Tantrapa

Lama Somananda Tantrapa is the holder of the lineage of Qi Dao that has been fostered in his clan for 27 generations since 1224 AD. He has over 30 years of experience in Qi Dao and other internal martial arts. He was primarily trained by his Grandfather who was the last Grandmaster of this style of Tibetan Shamanic Qigong. In addition to being recognized as an incarnate Bön lama, ordained as a Buddhist monk and initiated into Subud spiritual brotherhood, he holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology and certifications in Qigong, Hypnosis and NLP. Lama Tantrapa’s initiatives dedicated to peace work and spiritual freedom were subjected to persecution in his homeland thus he received religious asylum in the United States in 1997.

His unique background is complex enough to include serving in the Soviet Army’s Special Forces, being kidnapped in the Ukraine and going through several near-death experiences. His coaching has inspired many professional athletes, speakers, dancers, singers, writers and actors to open up to the infinite source of intuition that exists within everyone. After pioneering Qi Dao Coaching in 2000, he has provided wellness, peak performance and life coaching to hundreds of clients of all ages from all walks of life.

Lama Tantrapa is the founder of Academy of Qi Dao – the first and only School Qi Dao Coaching in the world – and Portland Qigong Clinic – one of just a handful of Qigong clinics in the United States. He is the executive producer and host of his own Internet Radio show “The Secrets of Qigong Masters.” He has authored two books, produced a film, recorded a meditation CD and other multimedia training materials. Being an avid speaker and presenter, he appeared on many radio and TV programs in the US, Guam and abroad.

Soon exclusively and for the first time in europe, Infinite love gives you access to Qi Dao distance courses with the internationally recognized Lama Tantrapa.

Lama Tantrapa in Portland

Lama Tantrapa is a Buddhist monk who practices Tibetan shamanism and dream yoga. He is also an internationally renowned Qi Gong teacher.   He trained us in Qi-Dao (which is the natural form of Qi Gong) and in Dream Yoga.

In Portland we visited the Japanese Garden with him.  This was a peaceful place that gave us the chance to discover the true art and culture of the Japanese garden.

Sweet Medicine Nation

We went to Haven Deer to meet Sweet Medicine Nation.

Sweet Medicine Nation is an artist, teacher, and storyteller who shares her teachings with passion, kindness, eloquence, wisdom, and humor. She enlightened us to the sacred realities that are present everywhere. She teaches and directs workshops all over the world related to the anthropology of cultures and religious symbols.

Sweet Medicine Nation

She is the founder and executive director of the Four Winds Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and preservation of Indigenous culture and wisdom which is a part of our global family.

But Sweet Medicine Nation is most of all a remarkable Shaman descended from two lineages: Chicksaw and Choctaw. She has been honored as a delegate to the Indigenous Congress of the Americas, and is a respected healer.

The Four Winds Foundation and its founder fight for greater respect for and attentiveness to nature, so that humans learn to reconnect to the earth and the 4 elements. They are actively working on the respect and preservation of water resources: “Water is medicine,” she says. “We have oceans, rivers, and streams running through our body.”

Haven Deer is a majestic place at the foot of the magnificent yet severe Three Sisters peaks in Oregon. This is where the Four Winds Foundation community center and Sweet Medicine Nation’s home are based, and this is where we had the pleasure of meeting her.
